Q: What if I decide I want to change the colors of my site.  Is it a problem?
A:
No problem at all.  With very few exceptions our templates are designed to accept color changes.  Just go to your Control Center, select the "Edit Colors & Styles Site-Wide" icon, and make the changes you want.  In the case of some designs you can also select from pre-made color schemes made especially for your design that will change the whole color look of your site with a couple clicks. To access color schemes for your template design go to your Control Center and click the "Template Color Schemes" icon.

Q: Can I add a hit counter to my site?
A:
Yes, Our sites come with a counter that you manage from your Control Center. You have more than 50 styles to choose from and the ability to set the number of digits you want displayed. We can also customize your site with counter digit styles you have or may find on the web, permitted they do not infringe on any copyright laws.

Q: Is there a "best way" to get my site listed in Google or Yahoo?
A:
There's not really a "best way". Different search engines use different algorithms to determine your "value" to them. We can help you submit your site to the major search engine companies and we also have some very "slick" methods for optimizing your search engine value. Some of these methods are built in to the site, and some are "pay for" services. But officially there is no "one way" to do it. That is the legal answer! Now...The fact is that we have built Webs-a-gogo from the ground up with SEO in mind. Almost every piece of data on a Webs-a-gogo page has been optimized for Search Engine Appeal. In orther words we recognize the standards applied by the three major search engines which occupy the largest share of the market. Those three being Google 53%, Yahoo 21%, MSN 8%. Q: I just got my new domain name.  What do I do next?
A:
Now you need a website so customers can find out more about you.  Select one of our WAG-PAC options where you can deploy any one of many designs, or conatct us about a custom job made just for your needs.  Just remember that while we can help you transfer your Domain Name away, you cannot take your Websagogo Module Website.  This is because our Sites are our proprietary code designs and are protected under copyright laws.  Besides, they would not work on somebody else's web server.

Q: Guests tell me my Guestbook isn’t displaying their entries. What do I do?
A:
By design the Webs-a-gogo Guestbook does not automatically display entries that your guests leave. You must approve them before they can be displayed. Go to your Control Center, click the Guestbook Edit icon. You now have all you guests’ entries visible to you. If you want to approve them for public viewing simply check the Approved box, then click update.

Q: How do I add a new link to my Navigation Bar?
A:
There are 3 ways to add links to your navigation bar:

…. You can use one of the twenty (20) pre-made links that come with your webs-a-gogo site. These are links to our pre-made pages such as Home, About Us, Contact Form, Catalog, Newsletter, etc. They appear in the upper 1/3 portion of the Navigation Bar and are activated in Section 1B of Homepage Setup feature in the Control Center. If you want to use one of these links, simply check the box next to it. If not, uncheck it.

…. You can create custom, “do-it-yourself” links in Section 2 of the Homepage Setup feature. These links may also be turned on or off, but YOU name them and decide where they link to. They appear in the middle 1/3 of the Navigation bar. You can direct these links to pages within or outside your site.

…. You can produce a link to any page you create using the Press Article feature of the Control Center simply by typing the desired name in the Link Name field of a Press Article. These links appear in the bottom 1/3 of the Navigation Bar.

Q: How do I remove a link from my Navigation Bar?
A:
Simply by turning it off in the Homepage Edit feature of the Control Center, or by removing the Link Name from a page using the Press Article edit feature. This does NOT delete the page; it only removes the link from the Navigation Bar. To read about deleting pages click here

Q: How can I add a guestbook to my website?
A:
The guestbook is an included feature of all WAG-PACS. You simply have to activate the Link to it in the Homepage Setup feature of the Webs-a-gogo Control Center.

Q: How can I delete a Press Article?
A:
From your Control Center click the Press Article Edit icon. From the To Edit (existing article) dropdown, highlight the article you want to delete and press Select. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Delete It button. WARNING: Do not delete an Article which came with your website, since some Article names are hard coded (i.e. Home, About Us, ContactForm, ContactThanks and others). Some hard-coded Articles also have a button on your site which would be rendered useless. Deleting hard coded Articles will result in broken pages. If you’re unsure, contact us.

Q: How can I edit a Press Article?
A:
From your Control Center click the Press Article Edit icon. From the To Edit (existing article) dropdown, highlight the article you want to edit and press Select. Make the changes you wish to the page, then click “Save Changes”.

Q: How do I access the Control Center?
A:
From your Navigation Menu click the Staff link. You will be presented with two login applets, one for your Web-Based email and another for your Control Center. Click the Control Center Icon. You will be asked for your username and password. Enter the username and password you were issued when you purchased your WAG-PAC, then click Log In. This takes you to your Control Center.

Q: How can I add a Catalog and Shopping Cart to my website?
A:
All WAG-PACS come with a Catalog and Shopping Cart included. You use Department Edit, Category Edit, Catalog Labels, Catalog Item Mgr and Cart Manage to setup your online store. Then you simply activate the Catalog in the Homepage Setup feature of the Webs-a-gogo Control Center to make your Catalog visible to the public.

Q: How can I take payments with my shopping cart?
A:
You have a choice of 3 ways to receive payments for your merchandise/services. We offer Authorize.net (a Merchant Account Services credit card gateway), PayPal and Manual Processing. To choose your preferred method of payment use the Cart Manage feature in the Webs-a-gogo Control Center.

Q: How can I delete an entry from my guestbook?
A:
Go to your Control Center, click the Guestbook Edit icon. You now have all your guests’ entries visible to you. If you want to delete one, simply click the Delete button next to the entry you’d like to delete. It’s gone. Click update and you’re done.

Q: I read in the FAQ about deleting Press Articles that there are some that should not be deleted. Which ones are they?
A:
Home, About Us, Catalog, Calendar, Catalog Gallery, Contact, Guestbook, Links, Subscribe, View Cart, Staff, Music Album, Invoice Receipt, Newsletter, Client Section, Blog Viewer, Favorites and Gallery. These Press Articles should NEVER be deleted. You can turn them on or off using the Homepage Setup/Edit function in the Control Center.

Q:

I forgot my website login credentials.  Can't remember your username or password  What do I do now?

A:
On your website, click the Staff link >>  This will bring you to the Staff login screen where you can click either the Control Center Icon or loginto your web-based email. >>  Click the Control Center Icon  >>  This will bring you to the Login Screen Shown in the image on this HELP item.  >>  Click the "I Forgot My Login" link at the bottom of the screen. Follow prompts and instruction shown to have your credentials emailed to your emaila address of record.

Q: How can I create a new Press Article?
A:
From your Control Center click the Press Article Edit icon. From the Press Article Edit feature you can add new pages or edit existing pages. To add a new page, give the page an Article Name, a Title and a Subtitle (if desired). If you want a link to the new page in your Navigation Bar, enter a Link Name. Enter your desired page content in Memo1. If you want pictures, use the Picture File Upload function located at the bottom of the page. Click the Add Article button at the bottom of the page. That’s it!

Q: What is the Control Center?
A:
The Webs-a-gogo Control Center is your centralized page for website management. From here you can manage all areas of your website. You can change your site colors, add or change your logo, turn features on and off, setup your homepage, choose a design template for your webs-a-gogo site … on and on. Access to this area is restricted to authorized persons only, since any changes made will appear immediately upon submission.

Q: What do I do if I need emergency support after business hours?
A:
If you find yourself in need of urgent service or support, and it is after normal business hours, just use the Panic on Call Button located in your Control Panel to have a tech support member at Webs-a-gogo call you back!  If you can't get to your Control Center, there is a Panic Button located on the Support Home Page at www.webs-a-gogo.com

Q: How can I make a suggestion to improve the function and ease of the Webs-a-gogo Module Management and Editing Pages?
A:

The Webs-a-gogo Module has a built-in system for grading and evaluating each management page in the Control Center.  At the top of each management page is a GradeUS  HERE button.  Click this button and use the "Make The Grade" page that follows to submit your opinions about the pages and make your suggestions for improvement.
